MY BOOKS
In Peace
An adventure novel that takes a wildly different twist on the idea of "People are trapped inside a game." Four strangers are trapped inside a Pacifist Run—a special challenge where they have to beat a video game without hurting any enemies. Every combat skill that the players typically rely on in video games is ripped away, forcing the players to improvise creative ways to overcome every obstacle.
In Peace wipes away all negative stereotypes that games are just about mindless violence, as the characters—and the reader—take a deeply appreciative look at how rich and creative a video game can be. You can check it out on Amazon here.
The Little Book of Giant Puns
My first joke book, it held #1 Bestseller status on Amazon for nearly 2 years continuously. It has over 250 original puns, designed to please pun lovers from all walks of life.
The problem with many pun books is that they're just flat-out fake: They have a combination of quotes, cartoons, and random jokes because the writer probably couldn't think of enough genuine puns to fill all the pages. But I deliver the genuine product, with page after page of real and original puns. You can check it out on Amazon here.
The Rather Large Book of Puns
A sequel to my first joke book. More than twice as many original puns, for far less than twice the price.
As usual, I made sure only high-quality original puns made it into this book: There are no aphorisms or other types of humor. It's a 100% pun-filled publication.

How to Make an Awesome
Mind Palace
Another #1 Bestseller on Amazon. This is a short tutorial explaining the basics of making a mind palace, which is a technique for improving your memory. If you've ever been curious about memory improvement but never felt like reading a huge book about the subject, this might prove helpful to you.

Burning Wings
A thriller about five young lawyers trying to understand a recent murder, while grappling with their own internal conflicts. Years of endless frustration have disillusioned them about their careers, as they wonder whether anything they've done is worthwhile.
"Genuinely surprising character revelations and a couple of nifty twists [set] up an unnerving climax...An amoral 'why'dunit that delivers the worst nightmare of Gen Xers and baby boomers." -Kirkus Reviews
"Suspend your moral compass and dive on in – you’ll enjoy the murder-fest for all its bizarre drama and insanity. [It's] quite a joyous thing to read." -IndieReader

The Nihilist Book of Nothingness
After I'd written two #1 Bestsellers on strange topics, I started to wonder if I could get even stranger. So I tried to monetize a complete lack of content, and it worked. I put together 130 blank pages, and marketed it as a humorously self-aware book on nihilism. Yes, people really did buy it for years. Life is bizarre.
Eventually I removed the book, because to be honest I felt a bit uncomfortable stoking nihilism and dark humor. I'm not a nihilist myself, and I generally dislike dark humor. So this book is currently out of print. Part of me wants to remove any mention of it from my site, but I'm not a fan of covering up inconvenient parts of history. Even though I regret having published the book, I feel obliged to record that it used to exist.
Basic Economics in 10 Pages for $0.99
Like my tutorial on memory improvement, this is a short work that defines and illustrates a number of key terms in economics. If (like many people) you've never quite understood some of the basics about how an economy works, then this tutorial might give you some useful insight. This book was the #1 New Release in its category when it first came out.

Quick Catan
This booklet is a short strategy guide for the game Catan (formerly known as Settlers of Catan). If you're familiar with the game and want to get better at it, then this booklet might provide useful insights. Other Catan strategy guides tend to be long and tedious, but this one is quick and concise, great for casual players who just want to spend a little while improving their gameplay.

How to be Happy in about 10 Pages
After I'd published a few short-reads, I decided to cover a pretty heavy topic. This booklet concisely explains why so many people are unhappy, and how people can dispel that unhappiness in order to lead a fuller life. In writing this, I drew on decades of personal experience, from the lives of both myself and many other people that I've known. THIS IS NOT A RELIGIOUS BOOKLET, it presents an agnostic view. This book was the #1 New Release in its category when it first came out.

Stories Make No Sense
This short-read booklet argues that our culture completely misses what really matters in life. The booklet also discusses what actually DOES matter in life, and why our culture tends to make people feel directionless or unfulfilled.

Why There's Probably a Peaceful Afterlife
This opinion booklet argues that a peaceful afterlife is likely, based on several key insights. This perspective is independent of any particular religion: It covers both spirituality and modern science. If you'd like a fresh point of view with a pleasant message, then this booklet might suit you nicely.

Why AI Won't Conquer Us
This booklet gives a concise argument on why AI won't conquer the human race. The booklet explains why humans are so aggressive, and why an AI won't mimic that aggressive behavior. It also disarms other AI-related issues that people are afraid of, like how AI might change global warfare or create fake information.
